Here is the latest to head out to a customer. Honduran/Sapele, GA form, Gotoh 510 tuners, 1 3/4 nut, 2 1/4" bridge spacing, cocobolo fretboard and bridge (Thanks Aaron Hix, they match up perfectly), ebony bindings and paduak and ebony banzai inlay. The customer is a local up and comer here on the West Coast, Jesse Roper.

Looks like a cool guitar. Did you take a few close up shots Alan?

Beautiful guitar! I'd also like to see a close up of the back. Was the neck Honduran or Sapele? I'm about to start carving a Sapele neck and I've read here and on other forums it can be a pain when carving with a spokeshave.

The neck was Honduran with a center laminate of sapele. I have used sapele for a few necks and had no problem carving it. I don't use a spokeshave though, Rasp to take out the bulk and scrapers to facet my neck down.
